A "best day"

Saturday didn't start well. The tour bus was an hour later but once we were underway, it was great. St. Paul's is a must see. London should be on everyone's list to see where it all started for us. After the tour, went to Westminister Abbey for 3 p.m. Evensong. I know, some of you just picked yourself up off the floor. How can you miss an opportunity to see the Abbey choir for free and sit in a church that has been active for a 1000 years?

Even the keyboard is different here. Also, no trash cans -- terrorists like to use them for bomb repositories.

What can I say about seeing Kevin Spacey on stage? Inherit the Wind was unbelievable. Took my first tube trips -- very much like the metro.

At a the Anchor and Hope near the Old Vic. Goood fun -- different - but reasonable. If you go, say hi to David for me. Very nice.

Yesterday was such a great day in terms of encompassing so many wonderful sights, sounds, and smells as well as intellectual stimulation. Off to see where Shakespeare lived. Have a good day.
